Annual Conference 2009 Theme

The theme of the Annual Conference on Global Management Studies 2009 is “Globalization, Strategy and Innovation across Business Disciplines.” In the current economic environment globalization and knowledge with the infusion of digital technology and network provides for a new paradigm of strategy, and presents challenges for the academics and practitioners for all business disciplines to embrace Innovation to create methods and manage organizations, learn insights  from communities of scholars, researchers, educators, developers and practitioners.

The purpose of Annual Conference of the Association of Global Management Studies is to provide a forum that stimulates discussion on how do we research and understand global issues in management studies and examine emerging trends and explore future challenges. The conference also provides opportunities for networking and collaboration amongst scholars from academia, industry and government.  In addition to papers on the conference theme, the scholars are also encouraged to submit papers on any aspect of management and business such as accounting, eLearning/distance education, internet communication technologies, finance, information systems & assurance, management, marketing, OB, HRM, quantitative methods, operations, social networking, economics, entrepreneurship, corporate governance etc.
